Based in Sheffield at the head office two minutes’ drive from Sheffield City Centre you will be mainly working in a Grade A open plan office environment with visits to customer’s sites to monitor the project delivery process – driving license essentialThe Job Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join High Access Solutions Ltd at their Sheffield head office as a Project Manager.  The successful candidate will have relevant in depth experience managing a portfolio of multiple projects ranging up to £250k working within the construction sector.  This role would suit a post graduate person looking for a great opportunity with a progressive company with an excellent portfolio of high profile contracts.

You will be responsible for completing the delivery process of Projects from Concept, Approval to as Built status whilst controlling the ISO 9001 standard document processes. You will be Project Managing the design and installation of Fall Protection Systems consisting of roof access systems, access stairs and ladders, roof cable systems, roof walkways, roof guardrails & façade access systems working to the customer program deadlines. You will be fully computer literate with Microsoft software such as Word, Excel and Outlook. The role will require nationwide travel between sites to manage the delivery process whilst delivering excellent customer service.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

·Working within the project department, you will ensure each project critical path is met by each member of the delivery team.

·Face to face customer engagement to ensure the company delivers excellent customer service.

·Manage day to day financial and operational aspects of multiple projects.

·Manage day to day contract and commercial obligations and variation procedures of multiple projects whilst reporting to the QS.

·Manage day to day running of the fall protection teams and subcontractors.

·Programming and monitoring of progress and expenditure against master program of awarded contracts.

·Maintain records, in accordance with company ISO 9001 procedures.

·Mitigate risk and promote the highest levels of Health and Safety.

·Excellent communications within the project team, manage site supervisors, contracts administrators and interns in the project team whilst reporting to the Commercial Manager.

·Understand the design, procurement, build process, plan, coordinate and communicate with the delivery team.

·Problem solve and document site issues when they occur, providing feedback to the Customer and Commercial Manager.

·Ensure all works are carried out with statutory regulations, current standards and company quality assurance procedures.

·Oversee final accounts and project handover upon completion.

·Build a strong project delivery team whilst embracing change and strategic growth.

·Able to lead by example and make autonomous decisions.

About the Person:

·Minimum 3 years’ experience in Construction Project Management.

·Degree level or equivalent in Project Management skills or equivalent.

·A minimum of 1 years’ experience of Construction / Civil Engineering / Infrastructure services.

·Knowledge of JCT Design & Build Sub-C / NEC-3 contracts.

·Managing client expectations whilst maintaining financial control of multiple projects.

·Health & Safety competent able to undertake Risk Assessments and Method Statements.

·Experience of Project Management of trade contract packages up to 250k.

·Dealing with multiple bespoke Projects across a range of products and services.

·SMSTS, NEBOSH equivalent industry standard qualifications preferred.

·Ability to monitor and manage construction programming and reporting.

·Experience of working within a project team and motivating members.

·Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

·A respect for heights as safe roof access is required on high rise structures and buildings.
