Care Coordinator - Domiciliary Care - Newbury area -GBP18-22k

We are now looking to recruit an experienced Domiciliary Care Coordinator for our highly regarded client to work in the Newbury area office. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding quality care provider who are well established. You will receive excellent training and ongoing support, there are some on call duties on a rota basis and you will need to be a car owner/driver and live locally to Newbury.

We are looking for a cheerful, enthusiastic and organised Coordinator who has previous experience of working within the Domiciliary care sector and who has worked as a coordinator or FCS with experience of planning care staff rota`s, taking on new care packages, ensuring that visits are covered and that everyone is well communicated with. Your role will also ensure that service user and staff files are kept updated by following company policies and procedures and regulations.

This is a senior role and you will be managing a team of care staff ensuring they feel well supported and valued, you will carry out staff supervisions and liaise closely with families, care managers, GP services, field care supervisors and care staff and the branch manager ensuring that everyone is well communicated with. You will also need good IT skills, have a positive and motivated approach to your work and have excellent communication skills and be an approachable friendly character. Our client a national care provider pride themselves in delivering high standards of care to service users in the community and for the coordinator to be quality focused by monitoring staff and recognising any training needs and continued development. Good knowledge of the care standards and CQC regs is also required.
