An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Surveying team for a Building Surveyor on a fixed term contract up to 31st March 2017. As a Surveyor you will be responsible for providing an effective high quality repairs service as part of a busy team.

You will have responsibility for the pre-inspection and post-inspection monitoring of repairs to tenanted and void properties. You will be an excellent communicator who is highly organised and be able to deliver a high quality service to demanding timescales.

Within your role you will liaise with contractors to resolve any problems and ensure all work is carried out to the required standard within budget, as well as providing support to the Local Service team in the minimisation of void times of the properties.

You must have a full driving licence and access to a car. The ability to record information accurately is necessary as the use of a variety of IT systems will be a part for your daily administrative duties. Experience & knowledge of domestic building maintenance and CDM regulations would be required to satisfactorily undertake this role.
