Based in Maghull, Liverpool, this company manufactures high end bespoke metal products for the hospitality trade, interior design and the retail sector. Bar tops, table tops and architectural features. They also sell cut to size and pressed sheet metal.

A vacancy has arisen for a Sales and Production Administrator to join their small team. The position reports directly to the MD and Projects Manager.

Role

- Responsibility for specific sales accounts to admin level
- Raising orders, reviewing & issuing work instructions and progressing orders to completion and despatch
- Liaising with all departments to ensure orders are despatched on time
- Keeping the MD and Projects Manager appraised of Potential Problems

Responsibilities

- Handling incoming sales calls and emails from account and non-account customers
- Manage sales accounts, preparing quotations and work orders
- Maintain order schedules for large accounts
- Procure raw materials
- As part of a team to assist and cover other team members
- Proactively seek to improve procedures and system

Ideal Candidate Profile

- Will have a background in the sheet metal fabrication industry
- Excellent skills of dealing directly with customers on the phone and face to face
- High level of accuracy in literacy and numeracy
- Proficient PC Skills
- Experience of sales administration
- Work effectively under pressure

Job

This is a full time salaried job, basic hours 8.00am till 5.00pm Monday to Friday

Salary to be agreed depending on level of experience

28 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)
