Senior HR Advisor 3 days per week Portbury, Bristol £30k- £40k (full time equivalent) + benefits

The Senior HR Advisor will provide professional and commercial HR support and advice, as well as delivering HR projects to contribute to financial and operational performance of the company.
As Senior HR Advisor your responsibilities will include:
- advising management in line with company values, commercial and legislative requirements
- managing HR administration, employee records etc. providing relevant management information
- development and implementation of effective, practical and compliant HR procedures
- supporting recruitment to ensure company attracts market leading capabilities and talent
- coordinating performance management to support a high performing culture
- contributing to delivery of the HR plan via projects / objectives to support achievement of business goals
- coordinating, resourcing and ensuring delivery of training and development
- delivering training on HR practices to ensure all employees can fulfil their role and potential
Our client is part of an international group specialising in the supply and lifecycle management of speciality chemicals and gases. The ideal Senior HR Advisor will be CIPD qualified (or studying) with experience in a similar role and a thorough knowledge of employee relations. You will need a sound knowledge of recruitment and performance management. Whilst not essential experience of training and development, psychometric test qualifications as well as HR IT systems and reward would be desirable.
You will have excellent communication and coaching skills as well as an enthusiasm for developing others. You will thrive on taking the initiative, identifying improvements and delivering a great service. You will enjoy working in a team, where your contribution really makes a difference!
This role is part time, for 3 days a week. Hours are flexible and could be arranged around school hours. One of the working days must be Friday. The £30 - £40k salary is the full time equivalent and the salary paid would be pro-rated to reflect the actual hours worked.
