Our client is looking to recruit additional Shuttle Bus Drivers for an inter-hospital shuttle services between two internationally renowned teaching hospitals based in South London. The post holder will be transferring staff, the elderly and children between hospitals via a pre-planned route, taking pride in ensuring a safe and comfortable service.

The individual will present themselves in accordance with the company dress code and in the uniform provided at all times whilst on duty. They will ensure that their vehicle is safe and clean and that they are properly equipped at the start of each duty period.

Experience driving 16 seat minibuses preferred although not essential.

MUST HAVE D1 LICENCE and CPC

Hours to cover 07:30 ??? 18:30

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Carry out journeys following a set schedule/route, maximising both fuel efficiency and loading capacity of vehicles whilst complying with any expected standards for passenger care and timeliness.
* Abide by the highway code and laws pertaining to driving;
* Report any accidents or near misses as set out in the Incident Reporting Procedure via Incident Report form.
* Complete daily vehicle and equipment inspections, report any defects using PDA and company documentation prior to commencing journeys.
* Friendly communication with passengers
* Take pride in their appearance representing the company in uniform provided.

The post holder maybe required to cover colleagues at other sites should the occasion arise.

Person specification:
* Successful candidates must have the following:
* Full clean UK Drivers Licence
* D1 or Higher Category (No Restrictions)
* Driver CPC
* Smart appearance ??? uniform will be provided
* Strong work ethic and wiliness to help
* Happy to engage with the passengers
* Good written and spoken English
* Able to complete a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
* Experience in a similar role is desired but not essential as training will be provided.
* Knowledge of the South East London area is desirable.
