The Role
The role will be responsible for visiting machines on customers' sites to carry out regular planned maintenance and/or full diagnostics and repairs for breakdown issues. The role will require you working Nationwide and being flexible on locations. If required to work throughout the UK you will be put up in accommodation. This will involve being away from home all week.
Responsibilities will include:
??? Responsible for repair and maintenance of all types of machinery from 1.5t mini diggers to 35t excavators, 4m to 20m telehandlers, as well as dumpers, rollers and rotos.
??? You need to be self-motivated and be able to turnaround machines quickly with accuracy, and you will also be responsible for ensuring the machinery is fit for hire.
??? Full compliance with all Health & Safety regulations and legislations.
??? Liaise with colleagues to optimise efficiency.
Qualifications & skills:
• Qualified Diesel Mechanic
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance
• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 3 points
• Demonstrate a full and varied knowledge of all plant
• Be able to provide references to supplement your application.
• Having a CSCS card would be an advantage
• Good spoken and written English
• Use of iPad technology
• Excellent customer service skills due to interaction with customers on sites
Hours: 52.5 hours per week on shift pattern between 6am and 6pm (Saturdays upon request)
