This group are a specialist planning & multi-disciplinary engineering design consultancy. Launched in 2008, they have a proven track record of providing innovative and commercially viable sustainability and energy efficiency solutions to the built environment across the United Kingdom and internationally.
They are currently recruiting for a 12 month contract Administration Assistant to commence in January 2017.
Responsibilities/Accountable for:
- Supplies control - maintain levels of stationery, maintenance of office equipment (i.e. Ink, toner, etc.) refreshments and supplies for kitchen/bathroom
- Reception duties, i.e. answer front door entry phone, greet visitors, etc.
- Answering the telephone and directing calls accordingly
- Book couriers, handle post (except those with addressee on)
- Book travel required by colleagues/visitors
- Administrative duties i.e. filing, photocopying, scanning and binding,
- Schedule meetings and booking meeting rooms accordingly. Update diaries
- Provide refreshments - to visitors and staff
- Maintain office tidiness, kitchen area clean, bins emptied, coffee table/meeting room ready
- Secretarial duties where required
- Blogging, maintain server directories, update manuals, templates, website, etc.
- Proficient in Windows Explorer, Word, Excel, Adobe. Minimum Grade C GCSE in English and Maths
- Event planning and bookings
- Creating database of projects ('job numbers') and assisting with data entry into CRM and the project database
- Drafting quotations and proposals for client projects
- Report directly to Office Manager
- Work closely with and assist all Colleagues but in particular the Office Manager
12 month Contract position commencing January 2017
Monday to Friday; 9.00-17.30
Potential for permanent transition in 2018
Salary circa £16k per annum, dependent on experience
