We are recruiting on behalf of a client based in Arundel, West Sussex. The company has been established for over 45 years and is a leading company in its industry with a number of awards to go alongside their excellent reputation. The company offer coach day trips and short breaks across the UK and Europe as well as private coach hire. This is a great opportunity for a PCV or HGV Technician to join their maintenance team in ensuring their fleet of vehicles are in optimum condition. The workshop is based in Bognor Regis
Experience required:
• You must have previous PCV or HGV technical experience
• Have mechanical qualifications; however, if you are qualified by experience, you will be also be considered
• You will be required to have a stable & consistent working background
• Having a PCV or HGV licence would be an advantage
We are looking for a team player to fill this role who will be flexible and able to work to tight deadlines and be able to adopt a hands-on approach to all aspects of the role to ensure continued high levels of work are carried out right first time.
The main duties include:
• Carrying out inspection, servicing, repairs and maintenance of vehicles which include coaches and minibuses in a professional and safe manner
• Investigate and diagnose faults
• MOT preparations
• Carry out all repairs to the current manufacturers' standards
• Carry out all repairs to the highest standards and with the most effective use of time
Additional information:
• Hours are: Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm with one hour for lunch
• Some weekend work may be required but will be notified in advance by a Rota
• 28 days' holiday per annum (this includes bank holidays)
