Our Client; a truly global leader in the manufacture of Specialist Vehicles and Survivability systems are experiencing enormous growth. It is for this reason that we now have a rarely recruited opportunity for a bright, enthusiastic and driven Graduate Sales professional to join the organisation on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Divisional Sales Manager, this is an opportunity where initial support, training and a proper induction programme will be provided by my Client. Working on exciting new specialist vehicle projects, when up-to-speed, you'll be tasked with sustaining and growing profitable revenues through pro-active selling into established customers as well as generating new business. You will be helping my Client to promote and be presented as a leading player in the Global Defence arena.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience ideally required:
-Should ideally possess a Degree in Business or of a Technical Engineering nature, although lesser qualifications, but more relevant experience will also be considered.
-Will ideally have worked in a similar customer facing position (either internally or externally) for at least 1 year i.e. as a Sales Executive / Account Manager / Technical Sales representative or similar.
-Will be flexible to travel throughout the UK and overseas on occasion.
-Experience within the Defence/Automotive sector is advantageous, but it is not essential.
-You will need to be a strong and enthusiastic character with a willingness to learn and to get involved.
-Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills are key.
On offer to the successful candidate will be a negotiable (albeit dependent upon relevant experience) basic salary, together with a full benefits package, inclusive of training, access to pool car when needed, contributory pension scheme, private health care and when up-to-speed, chance to additionally earn commission.
