As one of the leading Natural Stone manufacturers and suppliers, our client offers their customers a wide choice of the highest quality marble, granite and limestone product and service for both the interior and the exterior of the house. They are in the process of expanding their fast-growing and long established company, and as such, an opportunity has arisen for an estimator to join their team.

Our client seeks a motivated professional with a min. 2 years relevant good experience of estimating. Our focus is on high quality interior stone projects so therefore the successful candidate should have good knowledge of the interior design aspects and construction processes. The candidate must work well within the team and remains totally focused under pressure.

As the "Estimator", you will be required to deliver below tasks and responsibilities:

- Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, specifications, drawings, samples and related documents.

Identifies labour, material and time requirements by a thorough study of the tender documents.

Prepare quotations as numerical and descriptive as possible and be responsive to any further technical and commercial quarries by the clients with regards to the submitted quotations.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

Skills Requirements
Straight to the point and results orientated attitude
Quantity surveying skills with commercial acumen
Good Maths and IT skills
Technical knowledge of materials & fixing methods
Be able to communicate well, both orally and in writing
Organisational and presentational skills Being able to work under tight deadlines / multi-function Being able to read and interpret architectural drawings

A degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, building, interior design, architecture or a related field would be required to your application, but this is by no means essential
