Workplace Designer | Egham | Up to GBP40,000pa plus benefits
A leading Workplace Design studio in Egham are looking for an experienced Designer to join their team delivering key projects across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity within a highly respected company. The package includes a competitive salary, company holidays, commission, pension and healthcare.
This is an excellent role for someone looking for an upgrade in salary and responsibility. The ideal candidate will have worked on the redevelopment and fit-out of CAT-A spaces and have an excellent portfolio collaborating across the full project cycle.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role, you will:
* Develop workplace design concepts based on current trends and needs
* Collaborate on the Technical Delivery of projects
* Prepare AutoCAD drawings for delivery and construction
* Visit site and ensure development of designs
RELATED JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
The following requirements are essential to this position:
* At least 2 years' experience working in a Workplace Design role
* Excellent knowledge of Workplace trends
* Confident in preparing drawing packages
* Relevant software knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign and SketchUp
* Attention to detail in every aspect of your work
* Very strong Technical and Construction drawing experience
* A portfolio that clearly demonstrates your experience and knowledge of the above
* Design/Architecture Degree of equivalent
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
The following experience is non-essential but will be advantageous to the role:
