Our company client is reputable Financial Services organisation who are actively looking to recruit an ambitious and organised HR and Legal Procurement professional to join their vibrant team based in London. The successful candidate will review the spend across the company within HR and Legal departments and act as a Partner to the business providing specialist knowledge and support, becoming instrumental and integral in formulating and implementing the commercial strategy.

Main responsibilities for this role will involve as follows:

* Responsibility for c£100 million spend across HR and Legal
* Lead management of the commercial relationships with suppliers, working with procurement and the wider business.
* Develop innovative commercial SLAs.
* Ensure that suppliers comply with all requirements and that the appropriate checks and balances to ensure correct payment are in place.
* Develop relationships with key business stakeholders and suppliers to facilitate dialogue regarding contractual performance.
* Develop and deliver a framework to enable the business manage their active suppliers in order to maximise performance.
* Ensure Procurement is engaged and governance is followed for new spend and/or where legal terms are changed under the contract.
* Identify and documents key relationships and sets structure and schedules for operational supplier review meetings.

Qualifications and knowledge required:

* Graduate calibre
* CIPS
* Private Sector experience, ideally Financial Services
* A strong understanding of Procurement and Vendor management with at least 5-10 years' experience
* Experience within HR and Legal Procurement
* Excellent negotiation skills
* Strong people management experience
* Excellent communication and influencing to develop strong relationships internally and externally
* Able to prioritise and allocate time effectively
* Diligent in completion of tasks and projects
* Highly computer literate - advanced excel
* Strong team player
* Highly organised and motivated
