Position: Web Designer
Location: Manchester
Salary: £25000 - £32000 per annum

The company client is a market leading insurance business who are actively looking to recruit a creative and ambitious Web Designer to be part of their team based in Manchester.
The successful applicant will join the firm's Digital Design team and will report directly in to the lead designer. The main focus for this position will be producing high quality artwork from design visuals on a range of projects and working alongside UX Designers to deliver innovative and customer focused products. This is a unique opportunity to join a forward thinking organization who truly invests in their people and future.
Major accountabilities for this role will cover:
* Create artwork that is in line with brand guidelines
* Work across a range of platforms to redesign and improve customer experiences, this will include responsive framework including mobile devices, tablets and desktop.
* You will be passionate about all aspects of design, with an appreciation for UX allowing you to help input into marketing briefs and help workshop ideas.
* Proactively monitor artwork quality, accuracy and consistency
* Alter and manipulate imagery and photography as required
Abilities and experience required:
* Solid experience of front end/user interface development (prototypes, mock-ups), expert knowledge of HTML5 & CSS3 and browser capabilities and solid knowledge of JS, JQuery and AJAX
* Experience with Flash and Actionscript for the creation of online banners
* Experience of email design and build combined with browser testing and campaign delivery.
* A strong knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign
* Sound understanding of UX/customer journeys and experience.
