Architectural Practice (Burton on Trent)

Full-time, permanent position, Hours 9.00am - 5.30pm Salary Negotiable. (GBP25K-GBP35K).

Urban Designs is a progressive, architectural design practice based in Burton on Trent specialising in Residential, Commercial and high-end domestic projects.

Combining our creative flair with our extensive knowledge of the latest products we create imaginative schemes for our clients. We have recently embraced the Revit software and we are now looking for an experienced Revit Technician who can help us further develop the use of Revit in the practice. Consequently, the successful applicant shall be technically biased with a good knowledge of the building regulations and a good understanding of construction detailing.

Since its formation in 2002, Urban Designs continues to provide award winning schemes and bespoke designs for both individual and large-scale developments. During this time we have gained a reputation for schemes that are both imaginative and highly commercial. We offer a full range of architectural services and, with associate consultants, have expert advice at hand.

The following would also be an asset:

• Be qualified to a minimum HNC/HND level
• Experience in Revit essential
• Experience in AutoCAD essential
• Have at least 5 years experience as an architectural technician
• Experience in Sketchup - preferable
• Experience in Photoshop - preferable
• Good knowledge of the Building Regulations
• Have excellent communication and inter-personal skills, dealing with people at all levels
• Self-motivated
• Team player who can also work on own initiative
• Good organisational skills
• Attention to detail
• Adaptable to work to tight deadlines
