On behalf of my client I am looking for a Telemarketing Executive to work for a successful, world-wide company.

We are looking for a pro-active self-starter with excellent communication skills both on the phone and face to face. They will have excellent English skills being able to produce well written informative and descriptive emails to potential clients, have a clear speaking voice and be able to use social media. They will need to have an outgoing personality and use their charm and personality to get past the 'gatekeeper' in organisations in order to speak to the 'decision makers' who choose agencies to provide tenders to design and build their exhibitions and events.

The role;
1. To generate new business enquiries via telemarketing, the use of social media as well as email campaigns.
2. To research shows ready for telemarketing by: -
• Obtaining the show catalogue and/or a full list of exhibitors. Checking our resources as we may already have catalogues.
• Go on the website or call the organisers to obtain a floor plan, list of exhibitors. Obtain a floor plan for the show. If not available ask to be registered to receive one and chase on a regular basis. Do a little research on the show so you have a basic understanding
• Research what clients we have worked or are working with at the show
• Prepare marketing document to email. (Template provided)
• When selling the show creating your relevant groups on our ACT system. Update and record telemarketing conversations and information on ACT.
3. Keeping records; such as providing weekly call log reports to the Sales Director, weekly updates of all enquiries brought in, expected enquiries and hot leads to the MD, updating our 'ACT' system which stores all of our information.

The Telemarketing Executive will be expected to attend shows in the UK and overseas to generate new leads also by face to face contact.

There is the opportunity to progress to train as a New Business Development Manager in the future which would be a natural career path following the telemarketing role. This role in brief would involve shadowing an experienced sales person in meeting clients, taking briefs, briefing designers and going on site with our Project Managers to manage the build of the exhibition or event. We would envisage this progression to be after a minimum of two years within the company.

Training on ACT will be provided.

If you feel that you match all of the above criteria and that you would be suitable for this role then please apply without delay by submitting your CV
