Credit Controller

Sewell Moorhouse are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller to join a well-known, established UK leading service business based in Wakefield. Due to an increased work load they are looking for a great Credit Controller to join the team.

The successful candidate will have full responsibility for the credit control process this includes;

-Reviewing and analysing new and aged debt and making high volumes of calls to recover monies.
-Agreeing debt collection targets and negotiating payment plans.
-Maintaining accurate records of all chasing activity and queries
-Ensuring that credit notes are processed correctly, monitoring reasons for credit notes being raised.
-Identifying problem debts that require escalation and liaising with the Credit Control Manager as appropriate.

The ideal candidate will;

-Have experience of working within a Finance team and will have experience of reducing debt.
-Have experience of working within a fast paced environment.
-Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Be able to work on their own initiative and prioritise their workload
-Have strong IT skills.
