My client is a well regarded international business with their head office based on the outskirts of Coalville, Leicestershire.

Due to expansion they now have a vacancy for a Sales Ledger and Payroll Controller.

Key Duties and Accountabilities:

In keeping with accepted principles of good working practice, you may be required to undertake additional or alternative duties, as directed by your Manager.

You are required to carry out the following key duties and accountabilities:

• Processing of cheques by allocating them against invoices
• Issuing of all customer and depot invoices by agreed deadlines
• Arrange the payment of weekly and monthly HUB staff wages through the computerised payroll system
• Administer the Statutory Sick Pay (SSP), Statutory Maternity Pay and Statutory Paternity Pay Schemes
• To process joiners and leavers of weekly and monthly HUB staff
• Issuing of direct debit statements
• Processing ad hoc invoices

General Responsibilities:

• Working towards and supporting Company goals, values and objectives
• Ensure the highest level of quality of service is provided to both internal and external stakeholders at all times
• To complete all necessary administration duties

Applicants must have previous sales ledger / credit control experience, knowledge of payroll would be a major advantage, however this is not essential as full training will be given.
