Our client is looking for a Finance Manager to join the Academy Trust, this role is commutable from Mansfield, Chesterfield and Sheffield to work with Primary Schools, the role will assist with financial controls and play a lead role in developing best practice across the Trust.

This is a crucial role within the team and you will act as a lead when new primaries join the trust, acting as a temporary resource until a permanent member of staff is in place.

You will make sure that all relevant financial information and reporting is produced to a high standard and delivered within pre-set deadlines.

Day to day the role will entail:-

Monthly reporting to Group Finance
Production of financial management reports when required
Complete returns for submission to external bodies or statutory agencies
Provide information to complete/assist with Statutory returns

This is a great role for someone that is either qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or nearing qualification or qualified by experience.
There are plans for expansion and this role will grow as the Trust grows, and you will get support and career development within this role.
