Funding Analyst, Thames Ditton

Salary - GBP21,000 per annum
Hours - 37.5 hours per week, 8:30am to 5pm, Monday to Frida.
Holiday Entitlement - 25 days per annum (with loyalty increments up to 30 days per annum)

Main Purpose of Role:

- To ensure the funding aspects of the Finance department are managed in an accurate and professional manner and to provide support to the Finance team.
- To arrange draw downs on a quick turnaround, resolving any drawdown issues with the appropriate Department in accordance with the agreed process;
- To maintain & develop the Finance database;
- Obtaining credit facilities for corporate clients and monitoring credit lines, co-ordinate financing of products with various Finance Houses;
- To liaise with Funders & internal customers ensuring that internal and external queries are dealt with punctually and professionally;
- To reconcile Funder accounts and allocate rentals monthly;
- Obtaining HP clearance, obtaining and verifying early termination quotes from Funders and allocating settlements;
- To facilitate Funder audits and quarterly Funder meetings;
- To manage payments, ensuring the Management Accountant and/or Financial Controller is aware of creditor position and any up and coming high levels of dealer payments, that may affect cash flow;
- To reconcile all accounts monthly;
- To liaise between Auction Houses and Funders to obtain clearance;
- Preparation of commissions and monthly drawdown report;
- Develop & maintain a 'procedures and process` document for the Funding function;
- To provide support to all areas of the Finance department.

Skills

- Some Accounts Experience
- Experience of working in an office environment in a role that requires attention to detail and excellent administration and organisational skills
- Experience of working within a quality driven framework
- Ability to produce accurate work to tight deadlines under pressure
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team successfully
- Highly proficient in MS Windows including Excel and is very confident with new systems and technology
- Data/Information Analysis
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing and orally in small meetings
- Articulate
- Excellent time management ability
- Accountable and possess high levels of integrity
