Job title: Billing Administrator
Location: Abingdon
Salary: GBP24,000 per annum dependent on experience

Alere Toxicology, the UKs leading drug and alcohol testing provider, are currently looking for a Billing Administrator to join their team in Abingdon.
The successful candidate will be responsible for raising product and service invoices on a daily basis (Approx. 1,500 per month), including GP report invoices, consolidated invoices (one time per month or per day per site) and retainer invoices.
The Billing Administrator will be responsible for:
• Accurately invoice customers with complex billing requirements
• Raising credit notes in accordance with correct company procedures
• Reconcile and allocate bank statements and credit card payments
• Set up new customers account in Sage 200 / amending customer details if necessary
• Working with: Jarvis, Sage 200, Opus, Sales Force (investigation, amending customer's details), Dart
• Ensuring that raised invoices are sent correctly to the customers
• Providing information to internal departments (query from Sales team and credit control)
• Responding promptly to both internal and customer queries on invoices
• Occasional credit control activities may be required
• Support with administration work

Required Skills and Experience:
• Attention to detail - Critical
• Good knowledge of excel
• Effectively communicate with other departments via email and phone
• Ability to work on own initiative and also to be a team player
• Be able to demonstrate hands on experience and knowledge of invoicing, experience of customer set up and billing of complex customers would be an advantage
