A highly-regarded accountancy practice is looking to recruit an Audit & Accounts Senior to join their successful team. The Successful Candidate:

This role is aimed at an ACA/ACCA-qualified or part qualified individual.

In addition to being experienced in a full general practice background, the successful candidate will possess audit experience and a strong working knowledge of preparing company accounts to review stage, together with management accounts for all clients.

An ability to deal directly with clients is essential. Applicants must also be conversant with computerised accounts, in particular Sage, Iris or Quickbooks.

Detailed Job Description:

Carrying out complicated accountancy and audit work including tax and supervising the work of staff team.

Prepare quality Accounts for review by Management Team. (Corporate and larger unincorporated)

To supervise ad hoc work for clients.

To maintain the highest standards of technical performance.

To develop the value-added culture and actively promote new areas of work reporting to Senior Management Team.

To develop and train staff under your control, formalised at six monthly development interviews, reviewing their work.

Improve turnover of jobs in the department.

Achieve your personal output target and maintain office deficits to a minimum.

To take control of regular Management Accounts from Manager reporting to clients.

Draft management letters for clients under your control.

To develop Sage / Quickbooks / Xero knowledge and develop Business Services with Manager.

To liaise with clients on matters relating to their financial affairs.
