Excellent opportunity for an Accounts Administration Assistant to be part of this successful, established and unique company.

The successful Accounts Assistant will be involved in Credit Controller and Purchase Ledger and will have previously worked within a similar role.
They will have good excel skills and will be comfortable on the phones. Experience of using Sage Line 50 is also an advantage.

Assisting the Finance Manager with all aspects of credit control including, chasing outstanding accounts via telephone and email - logging all information

Raising monthly statements for customers
Update customer records, change of address and bank details etc
Resolve queries on accounts
Open new accounts on Sage in line with procedures
End of day invoice processes (share with other members of staff)
Take Credit Card Payments over telephone if necessary
Process purchase invoices checking correct prices against purchase orders/delivery notes.
Code and enter all purchase invoices
Check any supplier statements against Sage
To carry out any other duties to support Finance Manager
Any other duties / responsibilities to meet and fulfill the needs of the business

Skills and Attributes:-
Candidate needs to be extremely organised,
Team player and be able to work on own or as part of a team.
An excellent telephone manner is essential,
Attention to detail (methodical), a good sense of humour.
Computer literate with experience of Word, Excel and Diary Management, use of Sage advantageous but not essential as training would be given.

Hours of work Monday - Friday 08.30 - 17.00 with 45 min lunch break
