The purpose of this role is to provide analytical insight on claims and counter-fraud performance to reduce indemnity and operational spend, enabling the business to deliver competitive prices to customers to achieve our vision of 1 in 10 by 2020.

In this role you will actively hunt out opportunities to improve our critical KPI's, demonstrating a tenacious attitude towards supporting the delivery of initiatives that you identify through quantitative analysis.

You will have an ability to develop intelligent hypotheses and use various analytical methods to test your hypotheses, being ready, and accepting, of challenges provided by stakeholders and able to demonstrate the accountability to reassess options and critically analyse the performance of initiatives previously deployed.

Within this role you will:

* Identify opportunities to reduce operational and indemnity spend. Create proposals and recommendations
* Deliver regular management information with actionable insight
* Identify and report on trends of adverse performance across Claims and Counter fraud
* Provide ad hoc information and insight to internal stakeholders

In order to excel in this role you will need:

* Educated to degree level (preferably mathematical or statistical) or strong experience in analysing data
* Strong numeracy and IT skills
* A genuine passion for data
* The desire to make things happen
* The ability to apply your insights to make real difference

* The ability to take ownership and responsibility
