One of our Immingham based clients are looking for a Purchase Ledger/Account Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis. The role will be a combination of predominately Purchase Ledger but also covering, cashbook, sales ledger and payroll when required, so the successful candidate needs to have experience in this field to be considered.

Daily and weekly duties will include all aspects of the purchase ledger function; raising requisitions; ensuring purchase orders are raised correctly; ensuring invoices are matched to PO's and delivery notes; dealing with invoice queries including price discrepancies; interaction with other sites, head office and suppliers; reconciliations and cash book. You will also assist with sales ledger, payroll and other areas of accounts administration when required.

Who should apply?

This role requires a self-starter with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels across the business and with external customers. As already mentioned, you need purchase ledger experience to be considered. Able to communicate effectively and take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion.
