Management Accountant / Fund Accountant

GBP28,000 - GBP30,000 depending on skills
Our client has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join their team working in the Hale office to manage the monthly accounting and produce consolidated accounts for review.
Within the role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a good understanding of rent reviews, arrears and maintaining the strong relationship with the managing agent within the Ground Rents Income Fund plc to ensure that all reports and accounts are completed on time. On a broader remit, this is an opportunity to acquire new skills in a broad accounting role and build on your accountancy knowledge to develop your career.
Using your experience in tax compliance and statutory accounts, you will assist with the accounts production using new UKGAAP and IFRS standards across a number of entities. Numerically minded, you will prepare VAT returns and assist with the quarterly dividend calculation.
This role requires an analytical and meticulous candidate with a sound accountancy background, preferably within the property management sector.
You will be accustomed to working well under pressure and have a sound knowledge of forecasting and financial modelling. The ideal candidate will be organised, professional and self motivated, with the ability to build effective relationships quickly. With an interest in finance and accountancy, you will be part qualified and working towards an accountancy qualification
