Here at Axiom, we are currently recruiting for one of our clients based in the South Ockendon/ West Thurrock area. They are currently seeking an Accounts Assistant for a maternity contract of 9 - 12 months. The hours will be 8am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday but this will require some flexibility on Wednesdays and Thursdays. This role will be offering GBP10ph.

The role will include;
- Adding and updating existing and new customers' details on the system
- Entering manual delivery notes
- Producing weekly and monthly sales invoices
- Process customer lists
- Allocate and post customer receipts
- Export files into Sage and reconcile
- Complete reports
- Budget spreadsheet and stock report
- Banking
- Credit control
- Respond to email enquiries
- Process and pay penalty notices and roads tax notices
- To answer inbound calls from customers and help with any enquiries

Personal attributes;

- Accountancy experience within a similar role
- Strong experience of Microsoft Office and Sage
- Strong communication skills - face to face and over the phone
- Mature, friendly and flexible interview
