Skills: Strong IT skills, Sage Payroll and Sage Accounts
Hours of work: 20 hours per week, flexible working hours, ideally 5 days per week, 4 hours per day
This is an exciting and rare opportunity to work for a professional, family run company near to public transport in Kenley. Our client offers 24-hour Residential Care in small Children's Homes, registered and inspected by Ofsted, for young people aged 12 to 18. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
What will you be doing?
Ideally working 5 days a week, but there may be some flexibility for the right candidate, you will be processing a monthly payroll for employees and working with Sage 50 Accounts.
You will need to be able to demonstrate full competence with Sage Payroll and this includes but is not limited to:
• Pensions module
• FPS
• SSP
• SMP
• P11's
• PAYE
• Year End
You will be a master of Sage 50 Accounts and your working week will comprise of the following accounts activities:
• All round knowledge of accounting procedures and principles.
• Wage Analysis
• Control accounts
• VAT return
• Cash flow
• Trial balance
• Monthly Management Accounts
• End of Year Accounts
You will also have the responsibility for mentoring one staff member and you will provide support to her in times of absenteeism due to holidays.
Who will this role suit?
You will be superbly confident and experienced in all aspects of Sage Payroll and Sage Accounts. You will have studied for your AAT level 3 (as a minimum) or equivalent and have a minimum of 5+ years in a similar role including managerial experience.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
• Advanced Excel skills
• Sage 50 Payroll
• Strong managerial skills
• Sage Line 50
• Highly numerate
• Common sense
• Self-motivated
• Hard working
• Performance management
• Organised
