Would you like to have the flexibility of working 30 hours per week over 4 or 5 days? Are you ACCA or CIMA qualified? Have you worked in the construction or property industry? If you're saying 'Yes, yes, yes!' then we have the ideal role for you.

Situated just outside a picturesque Kentish village between Canterbury and Folkestone, you will be working for a prestigious developer with sites all over the South of England. As the Financial Controller your duties within this busy office will include producing financial accounts on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, answering all accounts related queries as well as supporting the rest of the team with general office duties. You will be using your knowledge and experience to single-handedly manage the accounts for this family-run business.

Key skills and experience required:

* Working knowledge of purchase ledger, bookkeeping, monthly and quarterly VAT returns and PAYE
* Preparation of financial accounts for year end
* Experience of accessing confidential business bank accounts
* ACCA / CIMA qualified
* Experience working within the construction / property industry
As a family run business, the team pride themselves on their very low turnover of staff - in fact the only reason they are looking to recruit now is due to a long standing member of the team retiring.

The full time salary is equivalent to up to GBP50k, based on 30 hours per week the actual salary will be GBP31,500-GBP35,000. A generous holiday allowance and free parking are also on offer here.
