We are working with a leading European Automotive company who are looking for a Credit Controller to join their office in the Tamworth area. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person and offers clear career progression and future opportunities within the growing business.
Responsibilities inlcude:
* To ensure the smooth operation of the credit control function for companies within the group
* To perform all credit control tasks for customers across the group, incuding chasing customers for payment, following up pervious calls and resolving complaints whilst retaining good customer relations wherever possible
* Investigating customer queries and liaising with depots
* To carry out all legal preparation work in respect of delinquent accounts
* To work with the Credit Control Manager and Finance Director on the development of credit control tools that can be used by depots, in order to drive forward the effectiveness and efficiency of the credit control function
* Other ad-hoc duties as requested by the Credit Control Manager or Finance Director
The right candidate will:
* Have relavent experience in Credit Control
* Possess excellent interpersonal skills, including strong written and verbal communication
* Possess excellent telephone manner
* Have the ability to remain calm under pressure
* Have a methodical approach to work with the ability to prioritise their workload
