Chief Financial Officer
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an exciting high technology based business at an exciting stage of its continued growth. The business is currently well funded and has a strong management team in place who have ambitious plans for expanding the business further. The technology could be described as disruptive and is advancing at a fantastic rate. The company has now reached the stage that it requires a very experienced CFO to help guide it through the next vital development of growth.
The candidate must demonstrate very strong experience in early stage technology based businesses, and in building flexible business models to support equity fundraising, the candidate will have extensive experience of driving a business working with the board of directors to further international growth and rapid scaling.
In a highly strategic and commercial role, you will have overall control and responsibility for managing all financial aspects of the business, as well as funding strategy, planning and investor relations.
The candidate must be fully qualified and have a good track record of similar board level roles and be able to demonstrate experience of successfully raising further equity funding.
It would help but is not a pre requisite that you have experience within Aerospace or Aviation
*A fully qualified accountant.
*Degree and a professional accountancy qualification
*Experience of operating at the main board of a PE backed organisation.
*Experience of managing growth through acquisitions and, ideally, having completed a successful business exit.
*Exposure to international operations and cross-border deal making.
*The development of management information systems and controls to accommodate a rapid growth strategy.
*Proven track-record in previous CFO roles with a strong international remit
*Demonstrable extensive experience of M&A, ideally within a business that has achieved successful international growth;
*Experience of restructuring and developing high performing finance teams;
*Responsible for all aspects of the organisation's financial reporting, policies and systems
*Manage financial compliance
*Oversee all statutory financial reporting to outside regulatory authorities' and to the Board of Directors
*Oversight of tax planning, cash management, budgeting and financial planning and analysis
*Management of all organisational assets including all treasury and investment functions
