We`re seeking Account Managers, based in our Peterborough Office. In this role, you will approach and liaise with business prospects on behalf of Western Union (WU) Business Solutions to attract and maintain new clients. You will actively influence business decision makers by promoting the benefits of our industry leading risk management tools and payment solutions. The key objective of the role is to secure sustainable, profitable trading relationships with new clients.

In addition, the Account Manager will:

- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets and other specific objectives
- Independently handle leads through the entire sales process, including generating new leads via calls and other prospecting activities
- Uncovering and closing upsell hedging opportunities from the current client portfolio.
- Advising and dealing clients hedging risk using the company suite of derivative products.
- Training and mentoring other dealing colleagues.
- Contributing to market commentary both internally and externally.
- Contacting customers via the phone, email or a face to face meeting.

To be a successful Account Manager you will have the following skills and experience:

- Shown experience in B2B sales, and adept at executive corporate level negotiations
- Excellent communication/presentation skills across all media
- Highly motivated and confident, with excellent integrity and a strong dedication to win
- Ability to work quickly and professionally to find opportunities, understand the needs of a prospect, and skillfully suggest appropriate solutions
- Comfortable working autonomously with strict deadlines and a high tenacity
- Solid competency using: MS Office, web conferencing tools and search engines
- Previous FX, financial services / International payments experience an advantage.
- Experience in the deliverable FX bank or non-banking sector
- Educated to degree level

In return the Account Manager will receive a salary of GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 per annum and a market leading OTE.
