A new opportunity has become available for an Regional Senior Technician to join a well established Insurance Organisation based in York.
The Role
As a Senior Technician, you will be the most senior technical referral point for all technical work within the team, as well leading the technical excellence of the team through coaching, mentoring and training.
Job Specifications
* Liaise with Head Office Claims on large/complex cases as appropriate
* Facilitate and implement technical training, coaching and mentoring of staff
* Provide technical input and sign-off for referred complaints
* Co-ordinate quality audits and influence quality control standards
* Maintain and develop positive working relationships and provide technical support and assistance to Team Leaders, Agents and Sales colleagues
* Be a key member of the leadership team within the department
Experience
* Experience of handling large losses and/or complex cases
* Ability to demonstrate and apply a high level of technical knowledge
* Experience of developing and maintaining key working relationships
* Well developed interpersonal skills with the ability to train, coach and develop staff
