The JLT business is continuously evolving and Group Information Technology is embarking on a global IT Transformation programme to support our business ambitions. We are improving the way we work and serve clients by investing in the efficiency and effectiveness of our people, systems and processes. Our objective is to remain agile, drive innovation and improve the value we bring to JLT.

The IT Transformation programme is in its early stages of mobilisation and JLT requires a Financial Modeller to support the Finance team with modelling service pricing and volumes across the multiple work stream and to develop models that can track and report subsequent benefits realisation.

Purpose of the job

* To work with the Finance team within the Group IT Commercial team to develop and utilise financial models for service pricing and consumption volumes across a variety of IT services that support decision making and commercial negotiation

* Develop financial models that track and report global benefits across entities and service streams, the models must be capable of providing ongoing tracking capability

Key responsibilities

* Provide high quality financial modelling capability to augment the existing IT Finance team
* Develop financial models, for one off and long term use, to tight timescales that are critical to successful commercial outcomes
* Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the model and the outcomes and demonstrate clear understanding of the input data, model variables and the cost/outcome drivers
* Ensuring the highest quality standards are met

The ideal candidate

* Excellent advanced Excel and data base modelling skills
* Structured and analytical approach to tasks ensuring data integrity
* Proven capability in developing financial models to tight timescales that support and enhance commercial decision making with accurate and reliable outputs
* Demonstrable ability to produce financial models that can support on going use not just one off decision making
* Must be able to produce high quality outputs to tight timescales in a pressurised environment
* Demonstrable commercial acumen
