Established in 1993 we operate a number of recruitment offices based in the N West Region of the UK. Hexagon provides both temporary and permanent recruitment services to a large number of corporate clients within the United Kingdom and is associated with high standards of reliability and service.

Due to the imminent retirement of a long standing employee, we currently seek a Payroll and Accounts Team Leader to work at our head office in Runcorn, Cheshire.

You will be actively involved in day to day preparation of payroll and financial accounts, and contribute to the preparation of management and corporate accounts, in conjunction with company accountants. You will be in a busy working environment and operating to a schedule of established deadlines for completion of a large weekly payroll, invoicing cycle, and associated financial ledger activities. You will utilise a range of standard and specialist software accounting packages with training provided for each application as required.

You should have prior work experience of payroll and accounting systems, a willingness to learn new systems specific to volume payroll processing, and a desire to work within a small integrated accounts work team.

You will report directly to the company management team and have responsibility for a range of payroll and accounting duties.
