An accounting firm in Stoke-on-Trent are looking for an Accounts and Audit Senior.
Skills and Experience required:
• Qualified or nearly qualified ACA or ACCA
• 50:50 audit/accounts position
• To audit a broad range of companies in varying industries from small owner managed companies to large multinational groups
• Completion of audit assignments from planning through to approval of the statutory accounts by the Board
• Strong financial reporting knowledge and ability to prepare consolidated statutory accounts
• Supervision and mentoring of trainees
• Corporation tax compliance work and adhoc tax planning advice
• Cash flow forecasting
• Proven experience with Audits & Accounts for small to large companies
• At least 2-3 years previous practice experience
• Strong FR knowledge
• Experience in managing an audit team
