Chase and Holland have an exceptional opportunity with a growing SME for a Financial Controller looking for their 2 nd or 3 rd move from practice to work alongside the company's FD as a potential successor within 2-3 years. We are looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified Accountant, ideally with a Top 4 background or strong progressive career track record since leaving practice in the manufacturing sector or similar environment.
The business has several manufacturing sites based in the UK and Europe and is looking to grow and expand organically and via acquisition. The role will work closely with the current FD to identify and evaluate acquisition targets as well as assisting with financial planning across the Group with particular emphasis on strategy, business planning and new product introductions.
In addition to bringing your strong commercial acumen and excellent F, P and A skills you will produce financial statements complying with IFRS, tax returns, monthly group management accounts and weekly flash results. You will prepare the full budget process, liaise with auditors on all group treasury matters and maintain and prep the accounts for Group
We are looking for applications from Financial Controllers with experience in all areas of accounts at detail level with an SME background preferred. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone to obtain an FD level role with the support and coaching the current FD can provide. You will be naturally keen to explore new areas and willing to develop your experience in a challenging and rewarding role.
