Chase and Holland are pleased to be working with a large organisation based in Sheffield looking to recruit a Finance Manager. This is a broad role where the Finance Manager will undertake key projects and act as the no 2 to the Head of Finance.
This role would suit an experienced Management Accountant (CIMA or ACCA) looking for a next step or an experienced Finance Manager wanting to join a larger business.
Key Areas of Responsibility Include:
* Complete and co-ordinate the annual corporate budget plan and related quarterly reforecasts
* Overseeing the implementation of a new Finance system
* Liaising with budget holders/members of the Exec team
* Monthly actualise of the Finance system to enable longer term forecasts and to use as a base for the quarterly re-forecasts (budgeting tool)
* Management of a part qualified Accountant, an Assistant Accountant and a Treasury Assistan
* Manage short and longer term cash planning with the ability to see stress points and make recommendations accordingly.
* Manage bank c ovenant compliance such as :
* Reporting on actuals to bank
* Forecasting covenants to ensure non breach
* Exec and Board papers preparation relating to cash and covenant
* Responsibility of company taxation matters
* Corporation tax
* UK VAT and Ireland VAT
* Insurance compliance/credit insurance compliance
* Re-forecasting capital expenditure by liaising with budget holders
