Client Partner
* Outstanding opportunity with a top 50 accountancy practice based in St Albans
* Would need to independently manage a portfolio of (Apply online only) Limited Company clients
Our Client
Fast growing top 50 accounting practice based in St Albans is looking for a Client Partner to join their team.
Roles and Responsibilities of the Client Partner:
* The client partner has overall responsibility for: client satisfaction, work production and filing deadlines, quality control and review, timely client communication and relationship management:
* Prepare and review financial accounts for Limited Companies, Sole Traders, Partnerships and Directors/Personal Tax payers prepared by other staff members, commenting on any amendments required to support colleague development
* Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to the Practice and Bookkeeping Managers, Bookkeepers, Accounting Technicians and Apprentices.
* As a key client relationship activity, the partner is responsible for inviting clients for pre-year end reviews 3 months before year end
* Oversee/complete director's self-assessment / personal tax and communicating as the Client Partner
* Control the assigned portfolio of clients and taking responsibility for high quality delivery of all services provided to these clients
* Client invoicing and debt collection
* Contribute to the day to day running of the office and the management and training of staff.
* Identify opportunities to broaden services and fees with serviced clients as well as new client referrals
* Be confident and interactive with clients from identifying potentials, marketing to prospects, proposing solutions, quoting for year-ends and project-based activities
* As a senior representative of the firm, the client partner meets new client prospects and attends business networking events in support of the forms marketing activities
The ideal candidate for this Client Partner role must have this essential experience:
* ACA or ACCA qualified with a minimum 3 years' post qualification experience.
* Proven leader and developer of people
* Ability to market, proactively develop client relationships and convert client prospects
* Proven Manager who generates results
* Expert knowledge of Practice Management systems (e.g. CCH) as well as bookkeeping systems (e.g. QuickBooks, SAGE, ReceiptBank etc)
* A friendly, open personality with excellent interpersonal and client service skills
* A person who enjoys working as part of a dynamic team
* Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel skills
