Cooper Lomaz are working alongside a growing organisation near Bury St Edmunds for the purpose of recruiting an experienced Accounts & Payroll Assistant. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will play a key part in this small, but very busy team. Taking full responsibility for not only Payroll, but also general Accounts based tasks such as Bank Reconciliation's, Sales Ledger & Purchase Ledger.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Process monthly Payroll
- Manage Payroll Year end procedures such as P60's etc
- Produce detailed Payroll reports for Management & HR
- Process & reconcile Pension payments
- Post all Bank Payments & Reconciliation's
- Manage the company's Petty Cash process
- Manage both the Sales Ledger & Purchase Ledgers

Experience Required:
- Experience managing a monthly Payroll from start to finish
- Experience in an Accounts Function (2 years at least)
- SAGE & Excel skills (intermediate at least; advanced desirable)
- AAT or CIPP qualified (or studying towards)
- Effective communicator
- Organised and able to prioritise workloads
- Must be pro-active and ambitious, with a real desire to get tasks completed on time
