Financial Controller

Full Time, Permanent Position!
Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Financial Controller to join one of our tops clients based in Southampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join a stable and experienced team.
This role will be working closely with the Financial Director; you will be responsible for the timely and accurate production of management accounts and other financial projects as they arise.
The Role:
* Preparing monthly management accounts and reports for Board and Senior Management
* Responsibility for all journals and final nominal balances including review of month-end balance sheet reconciliations and control accounts
* Responsibility for cashbook postings and cashbook reconciliations
* Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
* Providing support to FD during the annual audit process
* Accruals and prepayments
* Prepare monthly gross margin analysis
* Checking monthly reports identifying results, trends and preparing detailed financial forecasts
* Overseeing complex monthly billing process to ensure absolute accuracy for clients
* Cashflow forecasting and management
* Overseeing the junior team members
* Ad-hoc duties as requested
The Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Good communication skills
* Motivated and well organised
* An excellent team player with the desire to contribute to a strong team work ethic
