THE COMPANY:
My client is a forward thinking SME business, based in Chesterfield. As a result of ongoing growth they are now seeking to recruit an Accountant to support the Finance Director and take control of the day to day accounting duties. This all round role would suit a practice trained and commercially aware Accountant seeking their first move to industry.
THE ROLE:
Key Responsibilities:
* Production of weekly and monthly management accounts
* Assist with annual statutory returns
* Develop weekly and monthly sales reports
* Stock control
* Budgeting and forecasting
* Complete VAT returns
* Involvement in accounts payable and receivable and credit control
THE PERSON:
Ideally you will be a ACA/ACCACIMA qualified accountant, preferably having trained within practice, although candidates qualified by experience will also be considered. You should have a proven track record providing excellent financial support and used to covering all areas of finance. A hands on and can do attitude is essential. Strong IT skills (including Excel are also required
