Finance and Retail Operations Assistant- Head office- Fashion
Finance experience essential!
Best Recruit UK are looking for someone to work for the Head office for an uber cool menswear brand in central London. This is perfect for someone who has previously worked in a head office environment, looking to grow in an admin/personell role. You will need to have a strong interest in Fashion too!
The junior office administration responsible will be take care for IT, finance, legal and administration tasks as documented below:
Monitor salaries, overheads and expenditures on a monthly basis
Review of bills
Review service contracts to ensure we are getting the best deals on internet, phone lines, electricity, travel, etc
Collecting payroll information and prepare payroll report
Support local accountant in the closing process
Support the local accountant with group reports (forecast, budget, shop performance, etc.)
Representation of the local accountant during his absence
Assist to review/negotiate rental contract
Assist in setting up employment contracts
Tax report
Intrastat report
Responsible for the IT infrastructure at the office (wifi, hardware, software, etc.)
Implement and take care of the filling system
Do regular back-ups, maintain data base
Requirements:
The person we are looking for should have worked at least three years in a similar role and has the following knowledge:
Good understanding of accounting
Proficient in Microsoft Office (notably Excel)
Accounting Tool SAGE (of advantages)
Soft skills:
Business mindset
Trustworthy
Organised and structured approach to tasks, attention to detail
Team player
Good verbal and written communication skills
Pro-active and a self-starter/ strong initiative to resolve issues
