Compliance Manager

Our client is a creative and innovative printing company based in Kettering, Northamptonshire who is experiencing a period of rapid growth. There is now a requirement to appoint an experienced Compliance Manager who will be responsible for ensuring the compliance, accreditation, monitoring and improvement of the company's ISO standards.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assess, interpret, and provide consultation and direction in an endeavor to improve and sustain compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Manage regulatory and compliance audits, internal and external.
  • Act as a lead for continuous monitoring and communication with internal departments to ensure compliance.
  • Oversee and monitor development and implementation of corrective action plans resulting from identified insufficiencies
  • Maintain multiple business management standards, including ISO 9001, 14001, 27001 and OHSAS 18001, within a manufacturing environment

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, organised and analytical individual, who can deal effectively with high pressure and change. You will have excellent communication skills at all levels, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal skills.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in compliance, accreditation, service improvement or quality improvement.
  • Experience of using Entropy
  • Experience with researching, assessing and interpreting regulatory requirements, and developing compliance monitoring of operational processes on an ongoing basis
  • A team player who can win the trust of others and build effective team dynamics to ensure compliance is sustained throughout the organization
  • A proven track record of driving change/improvement in a leadership role
  • Critical and analytical thinker
  • Able to act under pressure, accept accountability and be a decision maker
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and the different ISO standards
  • Experience within a fast paced manufacturing environment
