A exciting new opportunity has been available for an Accounts Assistant to join a successful and growing FMCG distributor based in Middlesex.

This role would be an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Assistant with the determination to succeed, where there will be plenty of opportunity for progression.

My client is seeking a highly dynamic and self motivated individual who is IT proficient, willing to learn new accounting systems. There will also be capacity within this role to make changes to the accounting function to improve its efficiency.

*Assisting the Accounts Manager with the day to day operation of the accounts function
*Raising sales invoices and recording details of payments received onto client accounts
*Review cloud solutions, either through Google docs or Microsoft Share point.
*Review settings in Sage and exploring options within this
*Writing VBA code (support given) to improve performance of certain excel tasks.
*Develop new solutions to structures within the organisation and push to implement them.
*Reporting into the CFO

*Excellent communication skills
*Attention to detail and good team player
*Ability to plan time and meet deadlines
*Experience in manufacturing/Production/FMCG environment preferred within a finance role
