Purchase Ledger Team Leader
GBP20,000 - GBP25,000

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Team Leader to join a successful and fast growing business based on the outskirts of Wakefield. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager and working as part of a small but established team the main duties of the position are as follows:

Oversee 2 other staff members
Responsible for all appraisals, one to ones and training/development of the team
Taking control and management of your own ledger
Checking the accounts inbox and actioning any necessary requests
Reviewing supplier invoice errors on in house bespoke system
Processing supplier invoices
Reviewing supplier and customer invoice disputes
Supplier statement reconciliations for review
Calling suppliers chasing missing invoices
Use of Access software system
Any other ad hoc duties

Elevation Accountancy & Finance would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experiences:

Experience in a Senor Purchase Ledger / Accounts role previously
Held previous line management responsibilities
Experience of financial reporting packages, with experience of Access a benefit
Highly numerate and good attention to detail
Excellent excel skills
Fast learner with the capacity to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to challenge others externally
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels, both internally and externally
