Our client is a leading distributor of mobile phones selling handsets and tariffs through mobile phone dealerships throughout the UK. Due to continued success and expansion they are looking for a Customer Accounts Executive to join their existing customer service team to assist with the day to day management of customer accounts.

The role will deal with all aspects of finance for clients' accounts from initial credit checks and setting of trading limits to monitoring payments, debt and stock allocations. The role will call for a strong understanding of the accounts function and/or credit control, as well as excellent customer service and communication skills. You will be working closely with the sales team to ensure that all client accounts are being controlled within company guidelines.

The key responsibilities are:

• Set up and authorisation of new trading accounts
• Stock Allocation for accounts
• Review of established accounts with Sales Executives and Sales Managers
• Order processing
• Conducting random reviews of all accounts
• Checking all accounts that are in arrears and initiating appropriate action
• Team working with other customer service team members, accounts administration, Sales Executives and Sales & Marketing teams

The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills:

• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Good understanding of elements of credit control/account management
• Understanding of all relevant credit control legislation would be helpful but not essential
• Understanding of stock allocation
• Professional telephone manner
• Self starter - who can motivate themselves and others
• Excellent team player
• Good verbal and written skills - articulate and persuasive
• PC literate (Excel spreadsheets, Word etc)
• Numerate and able to interpret and produce quality reports
• Assertive with the ability to remain calm under pressure

Our client is offering a basic salary plus performance related bonus, 28 days holiday Including Bank Holidays rising with service. The hours are 37.5 hours Monday to Friday.
