THE COMPANY:
Brewster Pratap are currently recruiting an experienced Payroll Manager for a large service sector organisation in Sheffield city centre, commutable from Barnsley, Chesterfield and Rotherham.
THE JOB:
The main purpose of this role is to lead, develop and deliver a cost effective and efficient payroll service to the group. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller duties will include:
Managing 3 staff including recruitment, training and continuous improvement
Ensuring the timely and efficiently running of payroll for c3000 employees
Dealing with 3rd parties
Ensuring that all periodic reporting is completed in a timely and accurate basis and liaise with HMRC in respect of payroll related matters
Processing year end
Dealing with all associated paperwork
Other ad hoc duties as require.
THE PERSON:
You will have significant experience in preparing payrolls and performing tax year ends and have experience of working within in a regulated environment
You will have experience of developing credible working relationships with senior level clients
The ability to influencing and guide decision-making is essential
You will be positive and self-motivated and will thrive in a fast-paced environment
The successful candidate will be required to undertake a Credit Reference and a Basic CRB Disclosure check
