GBP30,000 to GBP50,000 per annum (DOE)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced successful candidate to join an award winning and leading insurance intermediary as a Development/Account Executive. Our client offers services ranging across the negotiation of terms, placement of cover, settlement of claims, risk advice and many others and has a long and successful history built on the development of bespoke risk management and insurance solutions specifically tailored to meet the individual needs of a diverse client base.
Principle Objectives and Responsibilities
*
Successful management, retention and development of key clients and associated relationships
*
Understand new and existing Client's business and their approach to insurance and risk
management and to design and administer insurance solutions for the protection of their material assets and liabilities
*
Deliver against renewal retention and sales targets and build a profitable book of business
*
Maintain a healthy pipeline of development opportunities
*
To seek new business in line with company objectives and personal targets
*
To maintain, and achieve growth in, income from existing clients
*
Negotiate competitive terms and conditions with underwriting markets
Required Experience and Knowledge
*
Previous experience of the Insurance industry.
*
Extensive experience in a senior Account Management, Business Development or Sales role in the Insurance industry.
*
Experience of fulfilling all administrative and financial activities, including the successful management of existing accounts and implementation of new business.
*
Professional Qualification in insurance desirable, but not essential if evidence of high performance in a similar role shown
