As a result of ongoing business success our client seeks to resource additional team members to their dedicated Business Services Group which provides service across all of the UK. In order to perform these roles occasional travel will be required.

Background to the Business Service Group (BSG)
BSG is comprised of specialist team members that support the business in a variety of areas. The team provides technical, IT and specialist expertise to the company that underpins the quality solutions they provide to their administration clients. The team is located across their national offices.
The key areas in which BSG provide support are:
New Business activity
Existing Scheme Support
Project Management
Systems Support
Systems Development
Business Interface with IT Services
Management Reporting
BSG has 3 distinct teams, with strong communication existing between the teams to support the following primary competencies:
Application Management
Project Management
Data Migration and Calculation Management
Currently BSG seeks to resource an additional Business Support Analyst within the Project Management team, based at their Berkshire office.

BSG - Project Management (PM)
The PM team supply the project management expertise for projects undertaken by the other BSG teams and wider business.
The team maintains a close relationship with management, client management and the administration teams. They also liaise with IT services, their third party system provider (ITM) and directly with clients and Trustees.
A member of the PM team can expect to work on any of the project types listed below, often concurrently and across diverse teams and locations.
As BSG Support you will be expected to support the Project manager in keeping the project team apprised of upcoming tasks and deadlines and to record items such as project risks as they arise. This involved the creation and maintenance of a number of project documents such as project plans, actions logs, highlight reports and risk logs.
BSG support will also be expected to set up standard document folders, pass information to and from third parties using secure data transfer sites and to assist the Project Manager in ensuring the project adheres to the required auditing and compliance standards.
New Business Activity
• Currently this is the largest active area for PM. Activity begins at in the tender process where team members assist with producing tender documents, including providing high level project documents such as project plans and deliver presentations to prospective clients
• Once the business has been won the project manager is responsible for the successful completion of the project and ensuring all the work streams are completed by the agreed go live date. Monitoring this involves the setup and maintenance of all project documents plus the setup and attendance of regular internal and external calls which are led by the project manager
Existing Clients
• In addition to new business activity, PM support existing clients by providing project management for ad-hoc projects that may arise
System Development Projects
• PMs are also involved in the management of projects to develop new systems and enhance the functionality of existing systems. This may involve liaising directly with the third party system developers to ensure the project remains on track
• BSG support will assist the Project Manager in completing the project management tasks required in all of these project types
Management reporting
• The PMs are involved in providing regular and ad-hoc management reporting information to management and the wider company. BSG support will be responsible for running these reports and issuing them out to management

Ideal Candidate Profile - Core Competencies
Knowledge and Experience
IT proficient, in particular Word and Excel
Previous experience in project based work is desirable
Ability to create and manage documentation
Ability to run and sense check various data reports
Training, education & qualification
Ideally qualified to degree level or equivalent, candidates with strong A Level qualifications (or equivalent qualifications) who possess relevant experience will be considered
